Choosing without getting it wrong

The safest bet is to start from what the person already enjoys: their favourite colour of wine, or the dishes they like to cook. A medal reassures when you are unsure; a selection lets them discover several cuvées from the same estate.

Medals, vintage by vintage

A medal rewards one specific vintage. The “medal-winning” profile therefore only suggests bottles whose vintage on sale is the one that won the award; the cuvée’s other distinctions are still shown on the product pages.

A gift worth preparing

With a red, add a note on serving temperature; for a curious wine lover, a mixed case you put together yourself makes a personal gift. Delivery is free in France from 12 bottles.

Frequently asked questions

What wine should I give a wine lover?

A cuvée that has won a competition award, or a wine they do not yet know, such as a Négrette from Fronton, a rare grape grown almost exclusively within the appellation.

How much should I spend on a bottle to give?

There is no rule. The tool sorts our wines into four price bands, from under €15 to over €60, bottles and selections included, and tells you when you need to go slightly above your budget.

Can I give a selection of several wines?

Yes: choose “A selection” for the estate’s gift boxes, or put together a mixed case yourself.
