OUR HISTORY IN A FEW DATES
The adventure begins
Located between Toulouse and MontaubanChâteau Saint Louis is part of the Fronton AOC vineyard. Purchased in 1991 by Marie Cécile and Ali Mahmoudi, Château Saint Louis has undergone profound transformations. Estate wines are largely awarded every year since this mixed couple bought the estate. Today, a rose-scented driveway leads you into an enchanting setting, between the sounds of fountains and traffic jams. Blending regional and Persian styles, Château Saint Louis is an ideal setting for wine-making, but also for your private and business functions.
Our aim is to help you discover and enjoy the vineyards, the house and the wines of Saint Louis.
With each passing vintage and season, the Saint Louis team works the vines and the wine with enthusiasm and passion.
Organic farming
Since September 2005, our wine-growing holding is committed to cultivating its vines only in accordance withorganic farming. We are committed to respect the strictest ecological practices to ensure the sustainability of our crops and protect the environment. This commitment has been recognized and certified by theinspection body ECOCERT.
Organic wine
After three years of organic farming practices, we have obtained the organic certification. This represents a major step forward for the estate, which has long been committed to sustainable, environmentally-friendly farming practices.

Saint Louis, a human treasure
Within our wine-growing holding de 35 hectares, dont 30 hectares de vignes, nous nous réjouissons de recevoir nos invités avec hospitality and good moodin an environment enchanter with a spirit singularinspired by Persian culture. The Spirit of Saint Louis is the fruit of the encounter between tradition and the modernismmasterfully combining the strengths of the terroir with a passion for the art of winemaking. This unique combination enables the creation of exceptional wineswhich are pleasure and emotion among lovers of good things.
The estate in pictures
Château Saint Louis blends regional architecture with Persian influences: high ceilings, period fireplaces, a unique strong room, a barrel cellar visible from the great hall, gardens and rose-lined paths. The 35-hectare property, 30 of them under vine, lies on the old terraces of the river Tarn, between Toulouse and Montauban. These photographs show the buildings, the reception rooms, the terrace facing the vines and the cellar.
The people behind the estate
Ali Mahmoudi, founder and oenologist, took over the estate in 1991 with his wife and converted it to organic farming. His son Benoit now runs the vineyards and the winemaking. Sylvie, site manager for more than twenty years, organises hospitality and receptions; Lili handles sales enquiries; Jean-Paul and Dimitri look after technical work and maintenance. These photographs were taken in the cellar, in the vines and during the harvest.
